Back in the Furnace

Made some more bride bags and thought I'd show you. It's nothing new, but at least I'm sewing in the hot box again.

  1. I love the wood grain - that's fabulous. The only fabric stores here are Joann and Hancock. I'm glad we have something, but they're pretty boring.
As for your sewing room, I think I commented earlier that mine is also a sauna (otherwise, we'd probably be using it for something else!). On top of that, there's no room for my daughter to play, and she's in a difficult stage in which she will only play if accompanied. Today, I moved just the sewing machine into the living room next to her pack n play. It was really nice. She played happily, I made a dress and neither of us suffered dehydration. The machine was back in the sewing room before DH came home.

  2. Glad you're back to sewing, sorry about the sweating though. Maybe you could take the machine to the dining room for the next 2 months. Your cousins were talking about the bride bags in FL and Sarah would really like one, said she would like to send money to you for one. I'm hoping for one under a Christmas tree or for Flag Day or something.

  3. This is amazing. I fall in love with upper tight bag. Very cool pattern and i can wear it everyday! It has quite big space for everyday bag i think. Really nice!
